1 in 3 UK retailers don’t offer this kind of service
According to Ecommerce News, 66% of the UK retailers offer next-day delivery. Meanwhile, 45% of British consumers say that next-day delivery would make them more likely to shop with a merchant.
For delivery within two days and for click-and-collect the share is at 22%.
In fact, some retailers fail to meet consumers’ needs regarding free delivery.
For instance, 58% of consumers say that free delivery would make them more likely to shop with a retailer. They would also be more willing to wait longer when delivery is free.
At the same time, 4 in 10 consumers even say they would wait for up to a week, with only 11% expecting free delivery on the same or the next day.
We’ve reported that UK investors aim to increase their monthly investments. The recent poll of over 2,000 UK investors unveiled that 76% of respondents are planning to continue their lockdown investing habits. Meanwhile, only 4% of first-time pandemic investors giving up once the world re-opens.
