‘Children of War’: how Ukrainian children’s stories have become a charitable NFT collection

100% of the NFT sales proceeds will be transferred to the OO Shalimov National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology, one of the largest surgery centers in Ukraine, working non-stop during the war

On May 6 (the 71st day of the war), the charity NFT project ‘Children of War’ was released. The collection of illustrations was created by Ukrainian artist Oksana Drachkovska and made up of 10 pictures. Each of them tells the stories of children who witnessed and suffered from Russia’s war against Ukraine.

I am happy to take part in the ‘Children of War’ project. For me, this is a completely new experience and a new world of digital art, which also allows us to raise millions of dollars to help Ukraine. I have never felt my profession so important and useful as now, so I try to help our country on my front

The team of the Kaizen Finance platform, which implemented the technical solution on the site, guarantees the transparency of all transactions thanks to smart contract technology.

When buying NFT, the funds from the wallet of the new owner are automatically transferred to the wallet of the Shalimov Institute, and the authors of the project do not have any access to money.

NFT projects in support of Ukraine have become a real revolution in charity. In a few months, the crypto community around the world has amassed millions, which is impressive. My team and I also joined this marathon and created a project about children in support of the Kyiv Surgical Center. Yes, our project will not only broadcast the stories of Ukrainian children but also provide for the primary needs of the institute
