WorldRemit and Digicel International have partnered to enhance international mobile wallet money transfers. This partnership will cater to customers in Samoa, Tonga, and Fiji.
Customers in the stated locations can now make international transfers to Digicel MyCash. The recipient receives the funds within minutes. The new app enables customers to send money, top-up, pay bills, and carry out other transactions in one platform.
Customers can also use Digicel international to send money directly to MyCash wallets.
The offering comes at a time when travel restrictions impact the tourism industry as well as the movement of seasonal workers. The partnership also helps in the reduction of costs of remittances to the Pacific.
