There are currently 22 overseas institutions that support UnionPay card cross-border remittance services

UnionPay has partnered with MiFinity to allow overseas Chinese to remit to UnionPay cards through MiFinity’s official website and e-wallet.

Since COVID-19’s outbreak, there is a strong need for cross-border transactions.?Therefore, UnionPay has been accelerating its cooperation with domestic and foreign financial institutions.

For instance, in the first half of 2020, BOC Hong Kong, EasyLink in Hong Kong, KB card in South Korea, etc introduced UnionPay card cross-border remittance services.

We’ve reported that UnionPay?has announced?its partnership with Postal Savings Bank and OTP Bank. This way, a large number of Serbian ATMs and merchants will be able to accept UnionPay cards.
