According to Ecommerce News, Just Eat Takeaway, the Dutch-British meal delivery company, has acquired Grubhub, the US food delivery service.

The company has acquired 100% of Grubhub’s shares for a value of 6.4 billion.

In fact, Just Eat Takeaway and Grubhub will be available to customers in 25 different countries.?The operation will gather more than 70 million active customers globally, making Just Eat Takeaway the largest online food delivery company outside of China.

The report unveiled that Jitse Groen, CEO of Just Eat Takeaway will lead the combined business worldwide. Meanwhile, Grubhub’s founder and CEO Matt Maloney will join the management board and lead the businesses across North America.
