More than half of Swedes are ready to pay for same-day-delivery

According to Ecommerce News, 4 in 10 Swedish consumers don’t want to pay for same-day-delivery.

YouGov’s recent study surveyed over 1,000 respondents from Sweden. It reveals that the willingness to pay for getting the goods very fast differs per age group.

For instance, 41% of people from 18 to 29 are willing to spend €4.87 to get their orders delivered on the same day. And 23% are ready to pay something between €4.87 and €9.56 for same-day-delivery.

The report highlights that only 9% of people are willing to pay between €9.65 and €14.34. At the same time, 1 out of 100 respondents aged between 18 and 29 would consider paying over €23.89.

The age group of 60+ is considered to be the most skeptical about same-day-delivery.

57% of them aren’t prepared to pay anything extra for the service. About 48% of people of 50-59 years old are against this type of delivery.

As to the younger generation, only 21% have negative thoughts about same-day-delivery.
