Connecting retailers with creators and influencers can help them reach their target markets
The new Creator Platform from the BNPL provider Klarna matches retailers with the influencers who fit their target audience. Besides, the tool then tracks performance metrics such as traffic, sales and conversion rates in real time.
Initially launched in the US, the platform is now available in all markets where Klarna operates. The service provides an additional marketing channel for the firm’s 450,000 retail partners, gradually turning Klarna from a checkout option to the super app.
The platform is supported by APPRL technology. Klarna acquired this influence marketing provider last year. Besides the tech integration, it gives retailers access to a pool of over 500,000 influencers worldwide.
The close cooperation of retailers and creators is increasingly important, as about half of shoppers who buy from social media already purchase items directly from influencer pages.
We have previously reported that total influencer marketing spend will rise by 27.8% to $4.99 billion this year, with 74.5% of U.S. marketers resorting to influencer marketing strategies.
