Idemia has introduced its sustainable Greenpay initiative for financial institutions. That’s an eco-friendly card aimed to improve each part of the payment card value chain.

According to the report, that program was designed to move away from today’s “take-make-waste” attitude.

Greenpay includes eco-friendly card body solutions and advanced card-related services like eco-designed packaging. It also offers on-demand printing of PEFC/FSC certified card carrier, digital alert, and e-documents, etc.
