Facebook announced the rollout of Shops, a new platform allowing businesses to launch free stores on Facebook and Instagram. According to a statement, a new solution will be backed by Facebook’s partners including Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce.
The whole process of launch takes little effort. Businesses can just upload their catalog, choose a feature, and then customize the look of their shop with a cover image and accent colors that showcase their brand.
Therefore, any seller, regardless of their size or budget, can bring their business online and connect with customers at any time.
Besides, Facebook Shops provides 24/7 support through WhatsApp, Messenger, or Instagram Direct. The company also revealed that in the future, customers will be able to make purchases right within a chat.
