According to CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin soared to a record $28,537 on Wednesday, December 30 after setting a record of $28,288 on December 27.

As of December 16, Bitcoin exceeded a $20,000 mark, thus starting a series of new records. On December 25, its price surpassed $25,000, and for the next day, it grew by $1,000.

At the time of writing, the Bitcoin price dropped to $27,956.
