Lazada Group closed this year’s 11.11 Global Shopping Festival with record-breaking user growth and brands’ participation
During the global sale on November 11, the Lazada Group platform attracted nearly 10 million users, while also doubling the number of selling sellers.
During the 24-hours sale, Lazada managed to gain over $1 million with a total of 26 brands. More than 1.5 million packaged were shipped from Lazada warehouses across Southeast Asia in one day, with the fastest delivery made in 80 minutes in Malaysia.
Lazada carries out its businesses in 6 Southeast Asian markets – including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Local small- and medium-sized businesses presented strong performance, such as the Indonesian haircare brand Ellips, generating 40 times its average sales per day.
What is more, Lazada hosted ‘Lazada Super Shows’ in 5 markets – including Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines. More than 13 million viewers watched the shows via the Lazada app and partnering broadcasting channels, said Lazada.
