Amazon Sweden will probably open its digital doors next year

According to Ecommerce News, Amazon has officially announced its launch in Sweden, making it the first Nordic country where the company will operate.
The report states that up until now, Swedish consumers had to use the other websites of Amazon in Europe including such as Germany, even though this meant paying high delivery fees.
The Swedish website amazon.se is currently redirecting customers to amazon.de, offering them an option to deliver to Sweden.
Nevertheless, the company hasn’t disclosed the date of launch yet.
Despite there’s no word about Amazon opening warehouses or distribution hubs in Sweden, Ootes confirmed that Amazon plans to introduce a complete retail offering in the Northern European country.
We’ve reported that Amazon now offers its grocery delivery service Amazon Fresh in the UK free with Prime. The company revealed that?grocery delivery?from Amazon Fresh will expand to millions of Prime members across the country by the end of the year.
