As the popularity of AI generative tools grows, QuickVid?emerges as a new automated short-video-creating service.

The new website employs a few various generative AI systems and is able to create videos for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat videos. All the user needs to do is provide the tool with a theme. It can be described in as little as a single word.

Next thing you know, QuickVid chooses a background video from a library, writes a script and captions, overlays images generated by DALL-E 2?and adds a synthetic voiceover and background music. The latter are chosen from YouTube’s royalty-free music library.

“By providing creators with tools to quickly and easily produce quality content, QuickVid helps creators increase their content output, reducing the risk of burnout.”
Daniel Habib, QuickVid’s creator

The creator of the new service notes there’s a growing demand from the audience for short-term video content. Therefore, creators may benefit from the?advancements in AI technology, generating more videos than they would be able to do on their own.

At the same time, innovative tools like QuickVid may flood already-crowded social media channels with spammy and duplicative content. Moreover, creators who would prefer not to use similar services would suffer from the increased competition.

Currently, QuickVid offers only basic functions. However, more personalization options are due to arrive later in January.
